Really lovely staff, wasnt to happy when i came back at 4am to let me in. But who would be. Not the best location but good value for money
The bar and garden are that what makes it a nice place to stay and chill out with inspiring guests, mostly backpackers and nice and very helpful staff. The location is not perfect, but still close enough to the main sights. If you are not searching for luxury but informal chill out, this is the place to stay. Btw, the coffee and beer served is really good!
The service was incredible, staff very friendly and helpful, very relaxed too! Location is not in the city center, but it's still pretty quick and easy to get to the city center from the hostel :)
I had a really good time in this place. It's the easy going and helpful staff that make it. It's a little out of town but is in a nice a green and quiet area. Would recommend it for sure!
Rooms were small but comfortable, staff was very helpful and they all spoke fluent English. For the price it was a good hostel, BUT, the location is absolute garbage. It is a half hour tram+subway ride into the city and the night service back if you go out at night is once every hour. Although I like the hostel I would NOT recommend due to this. Also the atmosphere was disappointing, not a lot of other travellers (especially for August). Laundry was also bad. If it rained then no laundry.
It's a bit far from the city but near by you can catch buses tram and subway M2 which will take you directly to the city center. The bump beds are fine although the one on top shakes a bit when someone moves but no big deal
Doesn't have a kitchen and cleanest is ok, it shares bathrooms in the hallway. The staff are very nice and helpful with anything they'll point you in the right direction. Is cheap and since I just need a place to crash I think is ok
Ohhhh Internet is free and fast at times but very good overall
Staff were mostly friendly, the woman who initially checked me in was really helpful.
The location is quite far from the centre of town but it's a nice district and easy to get to once you've worked out the chaotic tram repair works. The hostel is super clean and the beds are fairly comfortable.
It was extremely noisy at night, Saturday in particular had thumping music shaking the floorboards until around 5am. The directions need updating. Moskva Ter has been renamed and the tram network is being renovated. Once you find where Tram 61 (Husovology) now goes from it's easy though.
I'm not sure what the previous reviewer (Lina from Amman) is moaning about, there were no dogs at the hostel that I met, even if there were they add character to a place.
Although the hostel itself is a bit too far from the city centre it is a really good and clean place to stay after long walks through the beautiful city of Budapest. The hostel is placed in suburbs where there is practicly no urban noise, so you can really sleep tight. The staff is really helpful, friendly and kind. The rooms and toilets are very clean. All in all, it's a really good place for a peaceful rest.
